From Days to Hours for Corporate Contracts: LPM’s Automated Fare Filing integration With ATPCO

In the highly challenging airline industry, efficiency and precision in fare distribution and contract management are crucial for maintaining a competitive edge. With the integration of ATPCo’s Express Contracts module, we managed to automate a highly manual process for the entire Lufthansa Group. 

Since Nov 24, LPM uses its self-developed technical connection from its own Fare Distribution Platform LION to ATPCo’s Express Contracts interface. This connection offers a substantial opportunity to enhance fare management, streamline contract processes, and boost revenue.

Our fully automated fare filing process has dramatically accelerated the implementation of newly negotiated, amended, or extended Corporate Contracts, reducing the time required from an average of 4-10 days to less than 4 hours with no further manual interference. This improvement is less prone to errors and ensures quick updates even during peak periods.

To make this process work,

LPM built a technical connection between the LION platform and the Express Contracts interface at ATPCo for automated data uploads

We are able to process either any standardized order sent to LION via email, or a direct connection to the customer’s Sales Fare Management Tool to receive the order content to be filed

We use our LION database or connection to other systems to enrich the order content with pre-defined standard information

In addition our workflow functionality within LION fully automates the processing of the order and provide status information to the customer throughout the processing time of a filing order
